Can we come by car?
La Mola may be reached by car, but on arrival at the fortress the route is covered on foot, on electric bikes or in jeeps by reserving a place on a Jeep tour. La Mola is a protected area for bird life (ZEPA) and as such we try to reduce the impact on the environment to a minimum and non-authorised vehicles are not allowed inside the grounds.
La Mola has two refreshment areas with tables and chairs to sit down, toilets, vending machines with refreshments, ice-creams, juice and coffee. There is neither restaurant nor cafeteria, however, by previous request, we can offer you a picnic service.
Are we allowed to take photos?
You may take as many photos as you wish and if you are an amateur photographer don’t forget to bring a tripod! Special permission is required previously if your photographs are destined to be used in a commercial nature.
Can we bring the dog?
Dogs are permitted access to the grounds, however their owners must be responsible for them, this includes keeping them on the lead at all times and coming prepared with bags to remove any excrement. We appreciate your cooperation to maintain the cleanliness of the grounds.
Can we do the tour with a pushchair?
In a few points of the itinerary there are steps, ramps and areas of terrain cleared of vegetation, all of which present no problem for visitors with pushchairs. Our staff are always happy to indicate alternative routes or shorter tours when deemed necessary.
Access for people with reduced mobility?
La Mola is an extensive area to visit, we recommend several itineraries of different duration and also have a route adapted for people in wheelchairs, avoiding steps and areas which could cause them difficulty. Our staff will advise you on the best route to choose in your case.
